Some people know me as Monica, others call me Mo. My pronouns are they/them and sometimes I’ll smile if you accidentally call me sir.
I am a cinematographer, producer and editor specializing in documentary filmmaking based in San Francisco, Calif. I am currently working full-time as a producer and editor at The Washington Post.
Prior to The Post, I freelanced across the country and worked with a variety of clients including BuzzFeed, HelloGiggles, The Advocate, and OUT Magazine.
I earned a B.A. in Film and Television Production from the University of Southern California in 2014.
When not working behind the camera, I am either camping, building something or taking my dog on adventures.
